Monday Monday 11.19.2007

Hi All,

Thanksgiving Part 1
I hope most of you are looking at a short week as we celebrate a Great National Holiday this Thursday! Maggie and I are heading back to upstate New York to vistit my family for Thanksgiving and join in with the Obesity problem that is the plague of America.

New Home
As discussed in Last Monday Monday, Maggie and I are in the process of purchasing another home. We had the house inspected this past weekend and found that the roof will need to be replaced this Spring. Fortunately it isn't all that expensive, but what we're looking for is to get the sellers to come down a little on the agreed upon price. We'll see. It isn't a deal breaker if they don't, but let us hope that they do. Closing is just a few weeks away, so I can't believe that Maggie and I are this close to having a second home. The fun will begin when we start the furniture shopping. Maggie has a lot of family in the Masthope Community that we are moving into, so we are fortunate to be moving at the same time that a lot of them are pitching old furniture. I'm really looking forward to the furniture and decor shopping process. Since we aren't going to be full time residents and we hope to have a lot of renting traffic, we're going to try to collect a lot of random furniture and put it together in a nice way.

Hunter's Nightmare
As I've said in previous emails, the new home is on top of a mountain. Might I add, it is a protected area meaning that shooting an animal on Masthope Propety is equivalent to shooting someone's dog. Because of this, we see massive amounts of deer and turkeys. On Friday night, I dropped a gentleman off at his home and noticed ten deer walk right behind his house. On Sunday, as we left the community I stopped the car in the middle of the road to gaze upon a living, walking, staring. . .8 Pointer. It was just standing there and looking at me with no idea that if he took two steps onto stateland during hunting season . . .

Thanksgiving Part 2
As stated above, I hope you all have a short work week. Mine begins today and ends tomorrow. I'll be taking a late flight into Albany International Airport tomorrow night, so I really won't be vacating until Wednesday. Let the BINGE BEGIN!

Bye for Now,

Ryan
