Monday Monday 8.27.2007

Hello All,

Another good weekend behind me and hopefully a nice Labor Day long weekend ahead. This weekend Maggie and I are going to Atlanta for one night. Were using her Hotel Points to stay at the Hyatt Regency in Atlanta. As we are trying to at some point see every baseball stadium in America, we are going to see Turner field when the Braves play the Mets on Saturday. Also, our kitchen is completely decked out with a Coca Cola theme, so we'll be making a stop at Coca Cola World to view the factory and pick up some important merchadise. For example, I have Coke dishes - and it was a set of four before one plate broke leaving us with an awkward amount (3) dishes. We're also extending my Hard Rock Cafe Glass collection by going to the Hard Rock Cafe in Atlanta.

To speak in financial terms, I have gotten the forecasting (of what is to come this weekend out of the way), so I shall now concentrate on the actual (what actually happened this past weekend). {Sidebar - it will be interesting to see what happens when I compre this weekend's forecast with the actual} {Additional Sidebar - I'm at work and just scored a soft pretzel - extremely delicious}.

This weekend, Maggie and I actually recieved the chairs that we bought last week and made some additions to the bar out in the garage. For the most part, the bar is done. All that is required are a few more hangings in the room and possibly a better lighting solution. Our reading room took a step forward this weekend when we bought a two shelf bookcase that sits about waist level between our two new chairs. Next week we are getting CD towers for the opposite wall.

All in all, it was a good weekend and the prospects for the same are on the horizon for next weekend too. I hope everyone has an enjoyable long weekend, but I urge you not to fret if I decide to observe the Monday holiday and don't send out the email on time next week. If that be the case, I would simply expect you to all receive a Tuesday Tuesday email instead.
