Good Morning World!

Shake Up at the Navy
I have an assignment change this week to shake up my little world. I am still working on the NAVY ERP Project, but I assumed a new role today. I am now a Tier 2 Business Analyst! Sounds impressive, but it basically means that I'm working the help desk. I was very reluctant about taking this role, but I'm hopeful that I'll learn much in the next few months. So as I'm writing this email, I want you to picture me in front of a computer with one of those fancy headsets on! I'm the cool kid I know. As an FYI, it has long been speculated whether or not customer service representatives (CSR's) can hear when you are swearing about being on hold for a long time. At this point, I can confirm that CSR's can in fact hear every word you say. With my new assignment i did get a nice new military email.

Controversy
So I have been wanting to watch the hot summer flick, Tranformers. I paid 25 bucks to buy the special edition of this supposed cinematic masterpiece. . . . My current assessment is that I should have saved 22 bucks and rented it. I thought the back story was decent, but the movie certainly wasn't anything to get excited about. This paragraph is labeled "controversy" because I know that Spurch will rally back with some argument about how Optimus Prime could beat up Harry Potter. . . .FYI - that little wizard is "more than meets the eye!" Anyway. . . decent movie that was ramped up to much.

House
We are just four days away from the closing on House number 2. I would suggest that we'll spend some time Friday morning shopping about for essentials. We'll do our walk through at 1:00 and close on our house at 2:30. Then we'll spend the evening moving some stuff in and we'll be off early Saturday morning to buy a shower and install it by Saturday afternoon. If all goes exceptionally well, we may have it mostly furnished by the end of the weekend. Can't wait to rent that thing out and let it start making some of that cash back.

Well the nice thing about working the Help Desk is that I have controlled hours. This means that I can't get roped into working more than 40 hours like the Consulting World normally dictates. . . I also was able to go back to the hotel and do a short run on the treadmill during lunch. It isn't something I can do everyday, but I'll be trying as much as possible. It's just a little something extra to help the metabolism go faster throughout the day.

Have a Great Week!

Thanks,

Ryan
