Monday Monday 12.17.2007

Good Monday Morning to You,

I hope everyone is gearing up for the last few shopping days before Christmas. I know that I'm excited to have most of mine done. On the subject of Christmas, Maggie and I held our First Holiday Party this past Saturday. A small bash held in our little South Carolina home. I believe that everyone in attendance had fun as we consumed large quantities of both food and alcohol. We had a Holiday Sweater Contest that Dustin Logan won with a nice little number he picked up from Ebay and we had a beer swap where everyone brought a wrapped beer, I put it them a big garbage bag, shuffled them up, and redistributed. I personally received a Steel Reserve, but that is ok since the beer I put in the bag was a Genesse Cream Ale. We spent the rest of the weekend cleaning up and relaxing before I drove back to Baltimore on Sunday afternoon.

As for our Holiday plans, Maggie is flying into Baltimore this Thursday and meeting me after work. From there, we will drive to our house in Pennsylvania and spend all day Friday there. The next morning it is off to "Albany-ish" area where we'll attend another holiday party, spend the rest of the weekend with my family, have my family Christmas Party on Christmas Eve, and then spend Christmas Morning with my parents. In the late morning we'll drive down to Westchester and round out the week visiting various family and friends down there. On Friday we'll go back to our home in Pennsylvania, go to a party at Maggie's parents on Saturday, and head back to South Carolina on Sunday and stay through the New Years Holiday. On Thursday, we're off to Puerto Rico for the first vacation of 2008. We'll arrive back from vacation on Monday and be back to work on Tuesday. These holiday plans seem sort of strenuous, but I'm confident we'll enjoy them.

On another subject, Maggie and I attended Wrestlemania last April in Detroit. Although we had a great time, we sort of vowed not to return in 2008 as it would likely be easier to watch on TV. Well I randomly found cheaper tickets with horrible seats and we couldn't resist the opportunity to go to back to back Wrestlemania's. Soooo the end of March means that we're heading to Orlando for Wrestlemania 24.

You likely won't be hearing from me again until after the New Year, so let me send a hearty Happy Holidays to you all!!

Ryan
